Ercan Suelden 

He was born in 1956 in Istanbul.

He graduated from ‘’painting department of the State Academy of Fine Arts in Istanbul’’ in 1980. Between 1978-1980, he participated in a lot of mixed exhibitions and his works were shown. He is one of the founder of ‘’Guneseresim Group’’.

Selected Group exhibitions:

He, in 1983 participated in ‘’III. Art Festival’’, ‘’New Tendency Exhibition’’ in 1983 to  States’ frame sculpture exhibition in Ankara and 17^th D.Y.O Art Competition. His works were exhibited in ten different places under the names of 1993-Esbank 10^th Yunus Emre art exhibition, in 1994 ‘’Active Maltepe Artists’’ mixed exhibition, in 1995-1996 ‘’Master of the Masters’’, ’’One Half Century in Art’’ . In 1996 he participated in 1996-Esbank,13^th Yunus Emre exhibition, then in 1996 to ‘’Adana Cement Industry’’ 7^th art exhibition, in 2000 to Tekirdağ mixed atelier exhibition and in 2001,he participated in İzmit.’’ D.Erbil atelier graduates and friends ’’exhibition and ‘’İstanbul artists mixed art exhibition’’ in Bursa Uludağ University. In 2002 to Sasav mixed art&sculpture exhibiton, Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu art gallery’s number one atelier graduates mixed art exhibition, drawing and creative press exhibition’’ and first ‘’Antalya Art Festival’’ were just one of many exhibitions he was involved in. His works were shown in Köln, Germany.

In 2003,he participated in Ariyel Art Gallery mix of four art exhibition.

He participated in ‘’15^th  Tekel Art Exhibition’’ and also ‘’Istanbul creative press artists mixed exhibition’’ which was shown in Belgi Art & Central Culture. He was involved in ‘’Artistry Tüyap Art Gallery ’’ in 2005 ,’’Pass of October ’’,’’Gallery X’’ ,’’Sea Museum Gallery’s ‘’line’’ exhibitions. He donated some of his works to ‘’Poverty and Art Biannual’’ where 32 country participated. In 2006, ‘’21 Artists in 21^st century’’ exhibition (Karsu Art Gallery), mixed exhibition in Bursa Uludağ University and Aysegul Bayrak Art Gallery where he participated in ‘’Duruslar’’ exhibition, and he also participated in ‘’Mustafa Pasha Modern Arts Festival’’ in Urgup and 1978’s head starters anniversary activities not to mention the ‘’Repuplic Seb- i Aruz’a’’ exhibition in French Street.

In 27^th of  January 2007, he participated in Karai Art Gallery exhibition with Guneseresim Grubu with whom he started ‘’why are we together?’’.

Awards:

He won the first price in 1995 from Adana Cement Industry who organized the ‘’5^th Art Competition’’

The artist is still continuing  his works in Istanbul Maltepe. Some of his works are in Israel, Japan, Germany and England.
